Interactive drawing
The name says it all, really. An interactive drawing is an drawing that you can click through. This allows you to include more information. The viewer chooses which topics to zoom in on and how to navigate through the drawing.
Process
Your conversation board is already here. Most of the work is done. We’ll make it interactive. Here are the steps:
Step 1: We discuss your project
Tell us what you have in mind.
Call Arno to discuss the objective, the target audience and how the client can integrate the interactive display into their IT environment. Together you set the schedule.
Step 2: Deliver your files
Send us your visual as a layered file with instructions.
Storyboard: send your drawing as a file with layers. Place anything that needs to move on a separate layer. Marking scenes: create a JPEG of the storyboard and use a red pen to mark which sections belong to which scene.
Navigation: Prepare the navigation buttons (next, previous, home). Here you can view an example of scene marking and navigation..
Texts: we will add the texts you have provided for each topic. We recommend 75–100 words per scene. Tip: you can also include links here to further reading pages or downloads.
Once you have submitted the drawing, we will get straight to work on it for you. The texts will be added last.
Step 3: We build it, you check it
We’ll be creating the interactive drawing using micro-animations. You’ll provide feedback on the first draft.
Micro-animations are small, repeating motions: a moving car, spinning windmills, a gently floating boat. They don’t tell a story, but they do bring the whole experience to life.
You’ll receive a link to the test environment where you can review everything. Feedback? We’ll implement it. Text elements such as headings and short descriptions are added in the final stage.
Once everything is approved, we deliver the final files. Your client then places the interactive visual within their own IT environment. With our test files, they can already see how it will work inside their system.
